Through mockups and wireframes, I designed the app prototype called Thrift that explores the design of a mobile app and companion website (Thrift Website) inspired by Beli, but catered to thrifting — focused on memory, sustainability, and personal connection rather than resale or trends. The mobile app allows users to document their thrift experience through cataloguing visited thrift stores, saving found pieces through photos or captions, tracking when and where items were discovered, and rating various thrift stores based on a range of attributes such as affordability, selection, and atmosphere. The fundamental purpose of this project was to capture memories, sustainability, and emotional landmarks through thrifting.
